Comings and goings!

What a summer! It's been wonderful. Charles and I spent a week in Washington, DC and then I went to June Lake in the Sierra Mountains for five days of camping and hiking with my girlfriends and in a few days I'll fly to Ohio to see my oldest daughter and five grandchildren before the young people return to school. I feel blessed to have enjoyed so many adventures. When I return it will be time to hunker down to write my next book, Amazing Answers to Prayer––in the Nick of Time to be published by Harvest House Publishers. As the author of Ecclesiastes reminds us, "There is a time for everything under the sun."

I smiled reading your post. My kids love when my mom comes to visit. She's almost 80 now and so her visits are much less frequent, but over the years both of my kids have spent summers at nana's. Much success on your new book.

It's a great thing having many time for doing everything we like to do. Camping, hiking, meeting our beloved ones, etc, those are very amazing.
