Writing for the Soul

I attended the Writing for the Soul Conference sponsored by the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild February 19-22. I highly recommend it. I went as a 'student' this time--to learn and grow, to be inspired and educated to be a better writer, and to relax and spend time with God alone in prayer and quiet. I received all this and more. Jerry and Diana Jenkins (see them with the little old lady--me--in the photo) were great hosts and have become dear friends. I also spent a few minutes with students Cleveland, Bill, Rene (in photo with me) and Loralee. I loved meeting them in person. I hope you will consider adding this event to your list of things to do in 2010. It will take place in Denver next year. See www.christianwritersguild.com for more details. And if you'd like to order CDs of the various programs, you can do that too--on the CWG web site.

I wish I could have went but it was an issue of moolah. Glad to see that you went and had a good time. GBY Karen
