Home at last!!

Ah! Three weeks in Ireland touring, observing, thinking, and reflecting. I left a corner of my heart there, appreciating my ancestors even more now that I've traveled the roads they traveled, walked the streets they walked, and visited the places they talked about. I always considered the United States my home but now I have another home--Ireland. I'm Irish and proud of it!

Hi Karen, there is something special about Ireland isn't there. I think it's the people who lived there but went out into the world and they connect us all. You can't beat getting back to your roots. I live in N. Ireland, near Armagh, but I travel up to Belfast and around the co. Down coast. If you want any photos of places, please ask and I'll see what I can do. Lovely god centred blog by the way, Suzie Hull

Thank you for your wonderful post, Suzie. Please send me your email address so I can stay in touch with you and ask for photos if I need them. I took about 100 pictures with my camera and all turned out beautifully. From one Irish lass to another, God bless you. Karen O'Connor

I have never been to Ireland and I would hope before I go to be with Jesus, I can visit. Only by a miracle of God could I go (money wise). I am also Irish, only 50% though. The other half is Swedish.

What a combo eh, the temper of the Irish and the stubbornness of the Swedes. I've mellowed out though over the years. That mellowing is called the Holy Spirit. LOL. Thank you Jesus. (He's working on the stubbornness now, however. I'll get there.) So glad to see that you made it home safe, sound, and relaxed. How about some pics on FB. That might be my trip to Ireland via Karen and Chuck. LOL.

I am very fond of your photo. I like the way the light bounces off the clouds and onto the bricks.
